Iam wanting to know if there is a law for misleading information in a company hand book? Our company's new handbook was revised in Jan. 2005, It say that after 6 mos. of employment you should recieve a general raise.I asked my supervisor about this. Her reply was from HR leader, that it was a misprint and that it should not have been in the new handbook. Do I have rights to this on lying about this information?

Unless the handbook is written in such a way as to create a contract (which is possible but very, very, unlikely) they are not under any legal obligation to provide raises at any time.
