I broke my leg at a Day care were I work 10/2003. I had surgery on the leg and a screw placed in my knee. I"ve been out from work for 9 months.The doctor sent me back on light duty because He says I need a knee replacement. My job Fired me due to an decrease in ratios. What can I do? Mobile,ala.

It sounds like your termination was for business reasons, rather than as a result of your injury. If that is the case, you don't have recourse.

If it was in retaliation because you filed a workers compensation claim, then you can file a complaint with the state. Let me know if you have any other questions.
