MY DAUGHTER IS 16 AND HAD A BABY 3 1/2 MONTHS AGO WELL THE FATHER OF THE BABY DIDNT WANT NOTHING TO DO WITH THE BABY AND WAS TELLING EVERYONE IT WASNT HIS AND HE DIDNT WANT HIM WELL ON MAY 5 2005 WE HAD A DNA TEST DONE AND THE RESULTS CAME BACK THE BABY WAS HIS.WELL NOW HIS MOM WANTS VISITATIONS HER WAY OR MORE LESS THE HIGHWAY ,SO NOW THEY WANT FULL CUSTODY OF THE BABY WHAT I NEED TO KNOW IS DO WE HAVE ANYTHING TO WORRY ABOUT??? WE ARE CLEAN,NICE FOLKS AND I KNOW THEY CANT GET US FOR BEING UNFIT BECAUSE WE ARE NOT UNFIT THE BABY HAS EVERYTHING HE NEEDS AND HE IS WELL TAKING CARE OF.. CAN U GIVE ME SOME ADDVICE??? CAN HE GET FULL CUSTODY OF THE BABY???? PLEASE HELP USSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!! :confused: :confused: :confused:

He can seek full custody of the child, but not likely to get it if you can prove he disavowed the child and had nothing to do with it or the pregnancy. This sounds like a ploy to get out of child support. I suggest going to court and seeking sole legal custody of the child asap. Given the situation and the child's age, I believe that getting that is realistic. Let the grandmother apply for grandparent visitation on her own if that matters to her. I would go ahead and get with this. The mother may be able to get represented by the state's attorney who will likely seek support from the father who denied.
