Does CA PDL offer intermittent leave? If so, how would you determine what is reasonable accomodation?

Your disability related to pregnancy is based on your doctor's determination of your ability to perform your regular job duties, so it could be intermittent. However, there is a 7 day non-paid waiting period, so you would have to be placed on disability for 8 consecutive days before benefits could be collected.
