What would a judge consider unsafe environment for a child? My stepchildren's mother married a man that she met over the net just to get custody of the children then she left him after she got pregnant by him and now she is dating someone else she met online. She is still married and is denying the father of this new baby any contact whatsoever with his child she has moved the children 6 times since she got the papers stating she had custody in October on the 25th she cheated on her husband 3 times since October when they got married. he is helping us get a private investagator to help him and us with the cases against her. I need to know what I need proof of from the PI to have a good case against her. Oh we also have the husbands affidavit stating that she was phisically abusive to him in front of the girls. will this be enough? What else do I need to be sure that this time we get them?

I suggest talking to your own local attorney on this one. Some courts will not look kindly on the use of an investigator and the joining of forces with you all and the new husband and look at you all poorly and rethink you as parents and people. Obviously the mother has some issues, but is her conduct any worse than everyone else's in this. It is not always about what you can get on someone, but how you will be perceived in doing it, and I believe that matters a lot in this case too.
