I am finalizing my divorce and custody settlement. The custodial parent is demanding child support pay and child care payment which is more than 50% of my disposable net income (after all state taxes, sss, medicare deductions).
They argue that they have used the CA support caluculator for this, but it is still to much. With requested payment, I wont be able to even provide a good existence for myself.
Aside from this I am the one picking up and bringing back the child from the custodial parent (San Diego). I live in LA, with current gas prices, I might not be even able to visit my child regularly.
