Have a question about PTO.......If i leave work early but come in earlier than my normal start time and i have worked my required 7.5 hours is it legal for my employer to force me to use PTO to make up the difference between the time i left and the time i normally work till?

Yes, it is. It may not be fair and I may not agree with it, but it is legal.
