I worked for a retail hair care salon in Memphis,TN for over four years.Back in April of this year our store was visited by lost prevention because we were having alot inside theft at our store.So each employ including myself talked with the lady from l.P.and never anytime did we any type of comfidential agreement saying nothing about discussing anything said in the meeting,But I was asked to write down everything that I had told them and sign it,but the other employees were not asked to do this.So I had called a friend that used to work for the company to ask her about the reason why they made me write everything down that was said and none of the other employees had to.I also was told by my friend that another employee from a different store had loss prevention come see them too.Two weeks later my regional manger comes in and fires me for giving out information about loss prevention coming to our store and that the friend I had talked to had told everybody what I told her,but I feel I was setup and that I was treated unfairly because the other person that had also talked to my friend has not been terminated.And I feel since I was not the only one who talked I should not be the only terminated,but quite honestly I think they fired me on hear say because they have no proof that I had talked to anyone.
