I'm not sure if this is the right place to ask this, and I apologize if this has been asked and answered already (nothing turned up in search).

I recently left a job at a small company in Connecticut. They did not have any explicit policy regarding payment for unused vacation time upon resignation and now seem to be unwilling to pay.

I checked the Connecticut General Statutes, but I couldn't find anything directly relevant to the matter at hand. (All I could find were the time limits for final paychecks, not what would be in them.)

In the absence of a company policy, do I have grounds to file a complaint with the state Labor Board?

Thank you very much for your help.

Since the state of CT does not require the payout of vacation time at termination, no, you would not.
