I was in a relationship with a co-worker that ended and she filed a harassment suit against me at work. The company told us to have no contact with each other during work including breaks. Now we have resolved our personnal issues and are engaged. Can she appeal the suit and can the company still keep us from not having any contact at work even at break time?

Hi.
This sounds more like a legal question than a Labor Law since a law suit has been filed against you.
As far as the company policy, they can fire both of you if they want to for no reason other than personal as long as it is not illegal discrimination based on age, sex, race, etc.
Therefore, I would proceed with caution and talk to your manager and explain the situation and ask if you can amend or change the policy. I am sure they will have concerns that if you two should have "trouble" again, it will again be brought to the work place, so again, please proceed with good judgement and caution, as jobs are hard to come by right now.
Best wishes,
Sue
