Last year after having my wife and I drinking we got into fight and I called the police. They put me in jail and after that we became friend again. She did not want to be witness for the state and with a help of an lawer they dissmissed the case after I had to go to anger management class. Two month ago same story happened but this time we got both arrested. The case is pending. We both do not want be witness and still live toghter. It's my second time being arresred( the first time remember my case was dissmissed).I know probably she will get her case dissmised with anger management class. But what about me??what is the worst situation can happen?Do I need a lawer to dissmised this case or can we do it our self? Do you think I can make my case dissmised too??PLEASE I NEED HELP>>>I CAN NOT STOP THINKING ABOUT IT>>I am waiting to get my U.S nationality..Can this incident affect it???

Get an attorney. I do not know if you can get a diversion agreement again. You may get charged with a misdemeanor, but I am not sure how that impacts your application for cisitzenship. I think with a misdemeanor you will be ok, but a felony is a no go. Seek legal help on this from both a criminal attorney and immigration attorney. I think maybe you both need to go get some counseling of some kind. Maybe there is something in how you relate and your lifestyle that leads to these issues that needs to be stopped.
