:confused:[FONT=Courier New] [SIZE=4][COLOR=Blue] My husband and I worked for a medium to large company. When my husband and I were hired on at the company they said we will only worked 40hrs a week.
My question is it Kansas law for the company to give any type of notice for any manatory overtime for the weekends . We get noticed on a friday when we go into work that we have to work saturday.

No there is no law for notice of OT.

Are you paid for your overtime hours at 1 and 1/2 your normal rate?

Yes, we are being paid OT rate.
Can you be repermaned for not staying for OT?

Yes, you can be disciplined for not working the hours they require.

Even if the OT is asked at the being of your shift for the same day.

Can you be disciplined for OT when not all shifts are required to work?

Can you be disciplined when OT is mandatory, then on the OT day it is not required?
