i have been married 30 years . recently my husband filed for divorce, he has an attorney. we had an agreement, that i would keep the house, he was buying himself a new home, we had a support agreement, as well as agreement on taxes, insurance, etc.. i did not hold a job most of our married years, he currently makes 100k a year, i just started a job at 12k a year.. he met with his lawyer and suddenly now he is telling me, i must sell the house, that the judge would make me, when all along he said i could stay here, and when and if i sell i would pay him a profit portion later. i cant afford to buy anything , i have owned this home for 3 years, and would like to keep it. how can a judge make me sell if we originally agreed before he saw his lawyer i would live here? any chance i can keep the house?would i be forced to sell? i am 49 years old. i dont have the marketable skills needed to make a good wage, the rents are as high as my house payment. any help????
