i have recently met the love of my life after several months we decided to live together in her house that she rented from her mother and has for almost a year.after 2months we recieved e-mail from her mother saying that she didnt approve of her and i together and i have to leave within three days.she had never sighned a lease with her mother and i have only been at the house for 2months without lease.what rights does my fiance or i have in this situation? i am in the state of washington and any prompt help is highly appreciated.thank you. i am wondering if she can evict my fiance without serving any paperwork because she never signed a lease and do i have to leave the house immediatly because mom said so or do we have time to find another house.thank you

Mom is renting or providing for her daughter and has no obligation to provide for you. You are the daughter's guest, but since she has been told by her mother that you are not welcome to live there and there is no contractual aggreement that you live there and she is the landlord and you were not part of the "lease terms" then the mother can ask you to leave. You can visit the daughter as a guest, but there is a difference between visiting and maintaining another place of abode and living there.

do we have time to find another house or can she tell her and i to leave immedietly. what recourse does her mom have if i dont leave untill we find another house. can she call the police and have me removed because she doesnt want me here.does her mom have to serve paperwork to evict us without a written lease. we are going to stay together and get another house regardless.thank you
