I work for a small private owed company in Florida. Can you tell me if holiday and or vacation pay is considered time worked for overtime purposes.
For instance if I am off on Monday and paid holiday pay and I work Tuesday through Saturday, am I entitled to 8 hours of overtime? (Mon-Fri =40 + 8 on Sat) Or is it 48 hours at straight time because I did not physically work on Monday?

Overtime is for hours actually worked in one week over 40 hours. So, no, vacation time is not. You can work 40 hours regular and be paid 8 hours regular for the vacation time.
