After the sixth year for H1-B employee is over and he/she moves back to
his/her home country, can he/she get back all the SSN, Medicare money
that was taken out of their paychecks? Or, will he/she be getting that
money when they reach the retirement age? If so, will he/she be able to
get it through a U.S. embassy?

Thank you.

No. This stuff is not like a bank. Your payments into the social security
system were used for current retirees.

The US Social Security administration has totalization agreements with
several, mostly European countries. If you are from one of these countries,
the time you paid into the US social security system is taken into
consideration for the calculation of the retirement benefits in your
home country.
See http://www.ssa.gov/international/totalization_agreements.html

Joe,

how can i prove in my homecountry, that i paid into the US social
security? In my homecountry (germany) I got a statement every year
from my employer listing what he deducted from my pay and sent to
social security.

Is there such a statement here? Or will they accept my W2's as this
statement?
