We have property in Wyoming that was originally homesteaded by my wife's grandfather. The land has passed from him to his children and now to my wife and sisters. When the land was transferred to she and her sisters, one sister separately deeded her portion, 16 acres, of the 64 acres leaving the remaining portion in one surveyed plot with three names as owners. These remaining sisters would like to separate their plots to make transfer to their children more feasible. Has the law in the state changed to allow this to happen or is there any other way to accomplish what they desire?
