Employers Visit Homes

Does my employer have the right to come to my home if I'm on stress leave, maternity leave or disability to harrass me? A representative from my office visited my home to day to drop off a card to me that was addressed to another employee who is also out on disability. When I refused to answer the door she took pictures of my home. What are my rights?

Well, I think they were just trying to be nice. As for coming to your home and taking picture, maybe she had to prove that she went to the house to get paid. I do not know. You can call your office and request that they send cards and correspondence. I do not know your disability, but some make it difficult to get up and answer a door, and if that is the case, you should tell them that. Also, some places hire detectives to checkup on those out on disability.
