We travelled to Mexico with expired stamp, but with approved extension
notice of action until 2005 (H visas) on return entry not one, but two
immigration officers inssited on keeping our old I-94's and issued new
I-94's (I had stapled the bottom portion of our 797's as it was
indicated, and I did tell them and showed them the back of the notice,
which they read but did not pay attention to) with different numbers,
we are in the PR process, our I-485's listed the old I-94 number,
questions:
1.- Will we have any problems due to this?
2.- Do we have to notify immigration authorities of new numbers? if
so, Which forms do we use?
Thank you
