According to Ken Pisichko <kenp@mts.net>: None! But I would like factual information on where this myth started. I do remember hearing this "myth" on US media before it was in the Canadian media.

This myth may have started from an overreaction to the stories from
Canada expressing a certain empathy for the terrorists. E.g., the Sept
12 Globe and Mail, IIRC, had 1/2 its front page on the disaster and the
other 1/2 on how the US had it coming. Various Canadian public figures,
including Cretin, IIRC, also made statements that didn't exactly help
Canada's position.

Baloney. They did not express empathy, or sympathy, for the terrorists. They
merely pointed out that the US had done lots of things to annoy various factions
and that terrorism is the way those groups react. The "myth" was started by US
reports that the 9/11 terrorists had snuck into the US from Canada, and accusations
that Canada was harbouring terrorists. As it turned out, the terrorists had entered
the US directly, and had been there for many months before the attacks.

And they are still doing it.
What do you expect, therefore will eventually happen?

Guess we must be doing *something* right then. Nex
