Most likely, yes. You cannot have more than one immigration status per
entry.

news:3F020B45.6070309@netscape.net... I'm new to here. Can anyone tell me what shall I do with my B1/B2 visa once I get my H1B visa? Will this be canceled automatically? Thanks, Andy

If I enter US with H1B Visa, can I go back my home country for vacation
and when I re-enter US to continue my work, which VISA shall I use?

While you can only have one status in the US, you can have multiple visas. A visa only allows you to apply for entry into the US in a specific status. To be in H1B status, you need to use an H1B visa to apply for entry. If you use a B1/B2 visa, you'd be in B1/B2 status."andy" <andyliusap@netscape.net> wrote in messagenews:3F020B45.6070309@netscape.net...I'm new to here. So that's to say, as long as I am working in US with H1B status, I can
only enter US with my H1B Visa. Right?
Thanks for your clarification.
Andy.

You use the H1B visa, of course. That's the visa to use to be admitted in H1B status, allowing you to work. -Joe
