Alan, The US will have a similar joyful event 3 days after ours. I will be there
in Hallock, MN with my two sons (all three are Canadians) helping to celebrate
(and spending US dollars in the process). In fact we will stay overnight and
return to Canada on saturday. One of my neighbours and his three sons told me he
would like to come too. I will also bring some photocopies of the "educational
material for my Us friends and I will give it to them on Saturday - after another
one of our "discussions".
Celebrating a nation's birthday should not be limited to citizens of the
country.....
