What about if one obtained SS#, got US Drivers Licence and is starting a
legal job without any J-1 visa or other, or even without GC. Is there a
posibility that INS may track such a person? Any sugestions? Please take
it serously.

If you don't have a valid visa that allows you to work, yes, it is possible
that with all the tracking systems they will soon have in place, they will be
able to find you eventually... Currently, they will probably not bother, but at
some point they will. By the way, how did you get a working SSN without work
authorization...
