Hi folks, I don't know if this is the appropriate forum but maybe someonecan point me in the right direction. I got a speeding ticket in Chino, CA awhile back that I wish to fight in court. The officer was hiding in the darkon private property where he couldn't be seen from the street and he wasusing radar. Are there any codes that he could have been violating (bespecific please if you can)? Thanks for any help.

The officer can use radar on surveyed roads, max speed zones and
local roads. The officer can use radar from anywhere he likes, even
on private property as long as the owner doesn't object. There's no law
that says he has to be visible to use radar.

so Rob, Godd ol Skip has provided a defense.....find the property owner and
convince said owner that the doughnut eater did not have said owner's
permission. [good luck with that one, unless you offer a few "reasons" to
said owner.] ;-)

If you think it will work, give it a try.
