I've checked the book and I can't see where I did anything wrong. The
book only gives instructions about turning at intersections with turn
signals and the lanes are marked letting you know the proper lane to
stay in.The book also talks about staying in the right lane when making
a right turn,it says absolutely nothing about what I did.

The way was clear with the cars far enough back for me to immediately go
to the right lane so there's nothing wrong with that,it's also safer
than waiting to get over later when a bunch of cars are near you. This
may not be in a book but I know it's safer,I don't need a book to tell
me.

I should think that getting a ticket for doing it would be enough for
you to see is is -not- right. It would be for me.

Then why did you ask the question?

Let me have a guess, you're a cop right?

Anyway I'm happy to let all those that appreciate real justice know that
my case was dismissed and yes cops, your buddy the cop did show up but he
didn't have his story straight. It pays to take a risk sometimes,I sure
saved my hard earned money by taking this risk in court.

It's really a shame that people can be ripped off in court, some had to
pay over $100.00 in court cost for the privilege of being found
guilty, all that money just to punish them for having the nerve to come
to court and not just paying the fine. What a great way to teach people
not to fight,I guess the government want a bunch of whimps in the world.

I wasn't really trying to ask a question on whether I was right or
wrong,I was simply trying to see if people could relate to my situation
and tell me if they've ever heard or read something about it.
