advice in that post was wrong on all 4 counts, not to mention that it's
difficult to drive home in the "crummiest part of town" if you don't
live anywhere near the "crummiest part of town."

In fact, avoiding major freeways and driving in bad areas is the best
way to get stopped on suspicion of something or other.
