In Minnesota we have limited liquor licenses for DUI cases. I'd assume
Chicago would since your liquor laws are more lax. Shouldn't be hard to dig
up.

news:20030621222628.09515.00002765@mb-m11.aol.com... My brother has been revoked for 7 years now in the suburban Chicago area.
He took his classes and evaluation at least twice. First eval was thrown out because the examiner passed away before court date. He took the course a
second time, his lawyer took his fee but didn't really present much of a case, summarily dismissed in 5 minutes. Brother is out of work due to lack of transportation for 5 years now. He was sole income for himself and his aged mom, they are
in danger of losing the house. Mom drives for them but is losing her
eyesight. DUI was 3rd, simple alcohol, no accidents or injuries. He's been sober 7
years now. Q: can he appeal successfully for at least a limited (to work only)
license, based on the length of time elapsed and the need to work, without a third
or fourth repeat of the classes and evaluations he can no longer afford? Any
other tactic to try? replies to: msu1049321@aol.com
