You fail to take our advice when it comes to following the speed limits you dont agree with, why start now? When I follow them I get ISP crusiers blasting by at 30mph faster. Much like last night when I was obeying the 45mph construction zone limit when the ISP cruiser entered at 20mph faster.> Yes I do. If an armed intruder enters a home to steal the owner's> property which do police departments recommend if it's impossible> to flee:>> A) Give him everything he wants and hope he doesn't cause harm.> B) shoot him or otherwise defend one's self and property.> C) go for the phone to dial 911 risking the armed intruder putting> an end to that by shooting the homeowner. Nice mis-direction.... There is none. It makes my point, police departments do not endorse risking life in what are primarily property crimes. Yet you boys are using 'robbery' to justify driving on the wrong side of the road without the rollers on. Burglary : To enter or remain unlawfully with the intent to commit a crime therein...... Robbery: Using force or the threat there of, to take stuff that isn't yours.... One deals with people in harms way, the other *may* not. Which should I light up for? Getting there in time to get the guy with a knife at your throat, or... getting there in time to stop the guy from taking your things you've worked hard to get?

Both. It doesn't matter what the call is, if you are breaking the law you
should ahve your lights on to minimize risk to other drivers. The actual
call is pretty much irrelevant to your driving behavior while getting there.
The ends _never_ justify the means.
