:confused: Help - I am owed 5K in back child support. My ex tells me to take him to court and have an attorney file a QUADRO petition. If i could i would, i cannot afford an attorney !!!
Is there any other way to get this money from his pension fund, which of course is the only financial asset that he has.
Can a Child suport colection agency access monies in a pension fund ?
Do i really need an attorney for this, maybe i could fill out the form myself.....

I seriously doubt they can access money form his pension fund or 401K. I believe that if he is actually paying support an arrearage amount would be added to the base you recieve to start to pay it down...otherwise if he's is not, thats contempt...try to see whether or not you qualify for leagal aid

I agree with you as i have never heard of CS arrears being taken from
a pension fund. Ex does not pay support any more, license has been suspended and the next step is Jail. I am of the opinion that it's up to
him to pay his arrears. I can take him to court on a violation and let the judge decide what to do from there.
