My ex-Boyfriend and i have a 18months old son together he wants joint custody but i want full and he gets visitation rights. My question to you is what are my chances of getting full custody? and does NY State grant joint custody. One of my friend told me that NY State does not grant joint custody it have to be agreed upon by both parties. Is this True. :confused:

Good given the kid's age, but it sounds like you and the father should try to work things out on your own.
