I am not stupid, dear, I have heard all about genealogy! An adopted child
_has_ a family just like everyone else. His or her grandparents for
example, are _our_ parents so that is their geneaology!!!!! How obvious
that?! The grandparents certainly don't distinguish between our children
and those of Mr McGee's siblings, which werent' adopted. Where they came
from just didnt _matter_!!!!!! They _love_ them!!!

That's terribly funny, CindyMOM. Perhaps one of these days when your sprogs aren't running you ragged with pride you might peruse the net and check out the hundreds of millions of web pages devoted to one thing only: G E N A L O G Y ...I'm sure even the dimmest bulb on the tree could easily learn that h i s t o r y - the personal kind - is one hot topic and pursued by millions the world around. Being a devoted family genealogist myself

Yeah, I guess the birth family doesn't count at all. How telling.

How obvious that?!

Only obvious to you, Ms. Insecure Amom.

But that's not the topic at hand. No one is saying that you or your parents
love your kids less because they're adopted. I know mine didn't (Okay, my
adad did, but he was an asshole). What we're discussing is your refusal to
acknowledge that your kids have an ancestry outside of your own. I know
many adoptive parents like to think of their akids as a clean slate, but
that is NOT the case.
