My daughter-in-law up and decided to leave without anyone knowing to Georgia. She took furniture, car, enough to rent a trailer and go. When my son came home from work she, his step-son and biological daughter were no where around. Come to find out they left to go to Georgia. My son has filed for custody of the daughter as she was born in Michigan and has been here her entire life except for vacations. Georgia will not enforce an exparte order from the Michigan court to go to Georgia and pick up the daugher - court ruling in Michigan stated he has immediate physical custody of his daughter until further adjudged by a Michigan Court. There is the Uniform Child Custody Jurisdiction - yet the Sheriff's office where the mother is living will not enforce the court order from Michigan. Please help with some advice on returning the child to the only home she has known. Thanks
