I need help. Im in a bad situation. My common law husband is mentally abusive. Stays in trouble with drinking. Been together 11 years have 2 boys 8 and 10yrs old. I want to leave but am scared. I have an associate degree in business but have not found work. I can live with my mother.but due to threats of him taking the boys out of school and my never seeing them again im scared to do anything. Can he do this . I live in texas is there anything i can do to keep him from taking them. He would drive them around drunk. He does drugs. I need help

No, he will not be able to legally take your kids out of school or take them away from you.
