I work for a company that we travel alot. At the moment we are in a place out of the country to where rental cars are not allowed. The hotel that the company makes us stay in is around a hour away from the job site and workers are only allowed to use one company bus so that we can get to and from work.
Since the company is telling us where to stay and what time we have to get on the only bus should my time start at the time I have to be at the bus or when we get to work like they do now?

That is a multifaceted question, depending on if you are an hourly employee or an exempt employee. If exempt, it does not matter. If it is hourly, then possibly it counts, but depends on job, job type, company policy and if federal or state waivers are in place for overtime or work hours or conditions.
