Just wondering if anyone knows anything about labor laws in Minnesota. I am a "salaried" manager at my company and currently am working 70-80 hours a week (based on a 45 hr work week) and they refuse to give me overtime or extra days off for this...can they do that???? just becasue people are "salaried" dosen't mean they can use them.
Also, they refuse to give us lunch breaks or any breaks at all!! even though we work a minimum of 9 hour shifts..they use the excuse that "they don;'t have to give salaried employees breaks"
HELP! does anyone know any more about this or a website or something where i can get more info!!????
THANKS!! :)

If by salaried, you mean exempt, your employer can require you to work additional hours without additional compensation and they can require you to work without breaks or meal periods.
