I work for a small non profit company. My immediate supervisor has had it out for me lately and wrote a note in my personnel file which I stumbled across saying that I had been abusing company time and supplies. I do admit to using the company computer and phone for personal use but as she and every other employee including the executive manager do likewise, I feel discriminated against.
My first question is whether as an employee I have a right to see things that go into my personnel file.
My second is whether her actions toward me, singling me out for time monitoring and general harassment count as discrimination.
Thanks
