Hi, I'm curious if anyone here knows who's responsible when company equipment is stolen from a personal vehicle during non work hours. Some expensive stuff was stolen from my car last night, and I have a feeling my employer is going to try to make me replace it, and I don't have that kind of money. If anyone could help me, I'd appreciate it a great deal! Thanks!

According to my source Arizona law is silent on the issue of holding an employee financially responsible for losses. You should check with the state DOL on that.

However, even if they are not allowed to force you to replace it, they can still hold you responsible for it in other ways; a suspension, a written warning in your file; even termination if they choose.
