It went very well. My wife came with. First thing - was asked all the
questions pertaining to the actual N-400 form - ie: full name, address,
etc. He asked me my ssn number and I asked if I needed to know it by
heart or if I could look - he said I could look - but my wife said he
didn't look happy about that. After the questions he showed me the oat
of allegiance we have to take - had me read it out loud and then in my
own words explain what it meant. then I signed the forms to do with
that. He then asked me 10 questions (told me I needed 6 right to pass
the test) - got 10 out of 10 :}. He then had me write the sentence -
the flag is red, white, and blue. He had me sign the pictures that I
sent in and pick which one I want on my naturalization certificate. My
wife said this was her territory - but both looked the same and crappy
so it didn't matter. At the end he handed me a paper and said
congratulations I am recommended you for approval. It has to go to
whoever and if there is anything else then may want they will let me
know - if not and approval is granted then I will receive my invitation
to the oath ceremony in about 6 months.
The paper says:
Congratulations! Your application has been recommended for approval.
At this time, it appears you have established your eligibility for
naturalization. If final approval is granted, you will be notified when
and where to report for the Oath Ceremony.
For those who have had their interview in St Louis - is this what you
got at the end of yours?
So now it is the sit and wait game again - but at least it is the final
leg.

Alex???????????? OMG, I can't believe it is you. And what fantastic
news. How are the twins? And your daughter?
I love it !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Congratulations. I know what with all you have gone through it is so
nice to see the final chapter about to be written and the book closed.
Yes, Jim got the same sheet on December 1, 2003 when he had the
interview. Our only difference is that we waited for the supervisor to
sign off on the agent's approval and were given the interview date after
the signoff.
I'm so very happy for you and your family.

Yup it is I :}. The twins are doing great - start school this year.
They have been a great source of amusement, and rip your hair out
frustration :}. My daughter is doing good. She lives with friends in
Utah and gets to do her naturalization in just under 2 yrs.

Thank you. We are happy to see it end too :}. Glad things went well
for Jim and he is done now.
