I work as a temp for an agency in New York City and I receive my pay check from my agency based on the number of hours I work. I can be sent to more than one client during one week and accumulate more than 40 hours. I will not be paid a time and half of my regular rate for the hours over 40 unless these hours are all for one client. In other words, if I work for 2 clients during one week for a total of 50 hours (25 hrs for each client), the 10 hours over 40 hours are only paid as straight time at my regular rate.

Your employer is in the temp agency, right? If so, the way that they are calculating your overtime is incorrect. You should be receiving overtime for hours worked over 40, regardless of the number of hours you work at each location.
