My husband's two teenage boys have lived with us for five years. (16 yrs + 14 Yrs) If they choose to move back with their mother, will the fact that my husband and I have two children be taken into account for calculating or the fact that I do not work as I am a full time student (graduating spring2006) She works a few days a month as her husband is a test pilot. I know his 6 figure digit does not matter as she pay 300 monthly to us now. We hardly make ends meet now and I do not want the younger children to go without.(4yrs & 2yrs) Please advise! Thanks! Mead

The court will primarily look at the income and resources of both parents, but if that is impacted by another family and another spouse's income, that will be taken into account too. The state's child support guidelines should dictate how this kind of situation is to be handled.
