This might make some grossed out. I live in a garage converted to living space. It is poorly constructed. I do not bother the family in the house and have no need to use the backyard, unless I blow a fuse. There was a swarm of bees in the utility box in the back yard. I was unaware until this guy showed up in a bee suit, and they were not at home, so I took him to the box and saw the killer bees.
QUESTION: Is the landlord obligated to inform me if there is a pest problem? Is he negligent if he does not tell me if there is an annual return of bees or that the walls were treated in the past or is that an integrity issue?
Furthermore, the bees are now living in the walls, and ceiling. There are thousands but can not find where they enter? The honey or something is seeping through the ceiling and walls turning them yellow. I am not sure if it is honey or what this gooey stuff is, but something is coming into the Apartment from under the base boards, devouring the carpet and grossing me out. It is my belief there may be a dead snake, lizard or rodent in the wall, and the stuff coming under baseboards are actually worms? :confused:
My Landlord thinks I am crazy or that I brought these worms with me because the previous tenant never complained.
The bees buzz so loudly at night, that it sounds like they are in this room with me. Just before sunrise they are very intense and have woke me. The neighbor won't admit she hears them because she is friends with Landlord (who lives out of state, changed his phone #) who won't spend any money on his investment. I am nervous that the bees will get into the living space and I get sick to my stomache cleaning up the "makebelieve" maggots. I have a cat that I worry about including myself, getting a disease from the dead creature in the wall. :eek:
QUESTION: Is this an emergency situation that I can have inspected and/or eliminated, (ARS 13-3324 A) without waiting 5 days ARS 33-1361 A & ARS 33-1363 A, for LL to respond to my notice of unfit living. Any additional suggestions will be appreciated.
