My x lives with her parints and the house thay live in is in real bad shape. some of the rooms do not have any electriciaty to them so thay have extintion cords going from the dinning room to the master bed room where thay sleep. 2nd batheroom also does not have any electriaty the cords are on the floor the room they stay in is full has the crib and lots of dressers and the door to the room will not open all the way there is not enugh room to move in the room. the other bathroom has a drop light for light and you can see the attic from the door.

Thank you

I would try to speak with them about the living arrangements and ask if improvements will be made. If not, tell them you feel it is unsafe for your child and that you want the child to live wiht you until their living situation is better. Hopefully you can resolve it that way. Otherwise, you could make a report to child protective services about the condition and they may remove the child and assuming your place is suitable, they may make an emergency placement with you or if not you, to fostercare until the court can address the situation.
