Does anyone know what I am suppose to bring with me to the family courts to file for divorce? I have been married for one year and we have two children together.

Usually, the divorce petition that addressed the date of marriage, reason for divorce, and you will want to request interim orders for custody and visitation and support, child support and/or alimony both. Also, depending on the court, you may need your children's birth certificates and social security cards if they have one, a copy of the marriage license and your social security card. Most courts charge filing fees so you need to know what that is for the court you are filing in. If you do not want to file yourself, you can hire an attorney to do that for you.
