I need some advice on harrasment in the work place.I ahve a stuttering problem that my company knew about when they hired me.I have worked here since last june nad the mocking and harrasment has been non stop.In Dec. I formally complained to HR and they launched an investagation and determined that it was taking place. They ordered my unit head to hold a meeting with all of the shifts, which he did and, and warn everone not to do it.he waited until a week ago to do it though.Anyhow, two days after the meeting two employees got on the plant wide intercom and mocked me severly.Everyone heard it and it was very humiliating. Do i have a case to sue the company???? The damage that has been done to me is severe.

This is definitely illegal harassment and discrimination based on your disability. The Americans with Disabilities Act is the law that protects persons with disabilities from discrimination and harassment. You can look at the following website for more information about the ADA. www.eeoc.gov (http://www.eeoc.gov). There is a good chance that your state has a similar agency. You can file a complaint against your company with the state or with the EEOC.
