I am confused...I thought you could only submit the AOS papers to the
local BCIS office? Or do the forms get sent to the service center after
processing at the BCIS office? I'm in Virginia. I always wondered where
the forms went after they were submitted to the Arlington BCIS for my
husband (k-1). Anyone know?

People who live in Maryland -- like my husband and I -- have to file for
AOS first at VSC (by mail), then the app gets sent to Baltimore and they
set up the interview and do the fingerprinting (timeline below). I think
we are the only state that does this -- it's a pilot program.
