I'm assuming you are speaking of the Arlington, VA office which is the
address under Washington, DC on the BCIS website. Don't know why they
have not cashed the check for the EAD but if I were you I would take the
cancelled checks for the other applications, along with another I-765
and more ADIT photos, and go in person and find out what is up. You can
walk in to that BCIS office and file and ask questions. Normally all
checks are cashed at the same time after receipt, opening of the
envelope and logging in of your paperwork. Sounds as if your I-765 was
mislaid. Your only proof of filing will be the cashed checks.

My wife came here on a K1. WE married and sent in the AOS application
within 90 days. We sent in the AOS, Advance Parol, Employment
Authorization, all to the Wasthington DC office on June 11. The
checks were all cashed by June 24, Except the EAD application fee.

We have recieved no receipt of any kind from the the BCIS
acknowledging that the application exists. The FAQ says it is normal
not to receive a receipt for the I-485. We called the BCIS and they
told us the same. So are we supposed to just take in on faith that
they are processing our application? A year from now they could say
they never received it and we'd have no evidence to the contrary. So
my QUESTION #1 is: Does anyone know of any way to get some kind of
evidence from the Washington office that the AOS, EAD, and Advance
Paroles have been applied for?

Plus, the FAQ says the EAD comes back in 60-90 days, but here we are
almost 60 days after sending it in and the check for the fee is not
even cashed. So my QUESTION #2 is: Has anyone seen this patern with
the EAD? How much time did it take for your check to be cashed and
get some response to the EAD application when it was sent in with the
I-485 to the Washington office?

Thanks in advance to all how may reply.
