So before I met my hubby about 7 yrs ago he was with a girl. Now she has come to say that my hubby is the father of her child. She has been with many other men before and after my hubby. She was even with his brother. Now she is ordering for my hubby to pay child support and acknowledge her as his. I do not believe that it is his. She sent us papers to go to a child support negotiation conference. Can we get a court ordered dna test before signing anything? Isn't the brothers dna the same? And could I pay for him to get a dna test as well?
Unless the brother is an identical twin, their DNA is not identical. While the DNA would show that your husband and his brother are related, unless they are identical twins it will be quite possible to distinguish between the two.
I'll let someone with more knowledge of Texas family law answer the rest of your questions.

They are not identical, but I am just afraid that a mistake could be made and the wrong brother is in trouble. Thanks for your reply

Your husband needs to have paternity established. Let him know that he should not agree to anything or pay her anything until has has been legally named daddy.
In the event hat he is daddy. Daddy should also establish a relationship with his child, so he in would be in his best interest to have a court-ordered parenting plan.

Your husband should deny paternity and request a court ordered DNA test.
