I just recieved my drivers licence and i am 16 years old. During lunch break at school, i got pulled over by a cop in a school zone because he said that i did not stop for a pedestrian. I personally belife it was safe and I had enough space but anyways, I also had a couple of friends in the car with me witch i wasnt suppose to for my first six months atleast. The cop gave me one sheet of paper(pink) and on the violation section it has two things written on it. one is not stopping for a pedestrian and 2 is driving people under 20 with a provisional licence. Both of them is maked no for correctable violation and both are circled as a infraction. The officer told me that I have to go to juvinile court. I have had some questions about it and if anyone has any answers, i would really appriciate it.

1. does this count as 1 or 2 tickets.
2. how many of those can i erase with traffic school?
3. When should i go to traffic school, now or after court?
4. On the Dmv handbook on page 69 of the 2005 handbook(http://www.dmv.ca.gov/pubs/pubs.htm) it sais on my first convection, i will recieve a warning letter from the DMV. If i get a second convection within my first year of getting my licence, i cannot drive alone for 30 days. scince i made two mistakes at once, will they just skip sending me the warning letter and take away licence for 30 days or just count it as one conviction.
5. Can the court give me two convictions for getting pulled over once?
6. Will the court call me and tell me when to go or will they send me a letter or how will they contact me and about when?
7. A friend told me that juvenile court will contact me in about 8 months. is that true?

You will get points on your license for each ticket offense. This will affect you when you try to get auto insurance and make your rate higher. You can go to the juvenile court and see if the prosecutor and the judge will agree to a diversion agreement in which the ticket will be dismissed if you successfully complete traffic school, pay court costs and fines and whatever other conditions are normal. After completion of traffic school, the tickets can be dismissed, but depending on how the diversion is negotiated, the points may remain on your license. If you get too many points, you are in a high risk pool where insurance is very expensive.
