I worked for A hospital where most of the employees are from the Philipines. Most of them make comments and gang up on the non-Philipino's. Last week won of them turned me in for falling asleep. This is not unusual at my work for people to take a nap on their break. The one who turned me in is known for taking a sleep break. She also knows that others and allows them to do the same. I believe she singled me out and reported me because I am caucasion. When I asked my immediate supervisor why it was O.K. for them to do it and not get reported and I was singled out he stated" Because you're not Philipino". He also when in to the hospital at night to check the situation out and possibly save my job, and found a bunch of them taking a sleep break. He reported it to his boss. She said that I was going to be the example and they would make a new policy regarding "sleep breaks". Needless to say none of the one's my boss caught were fired. Is this discrimination? And if it is, is there anything I can do about it?

When your boss stated you were singled out for your race, it became discrimination. You need to document EVERYTHING in writing.
Go to http://www.eeoc.gov/facts/fs-race.html for much more info and instructions on filing a compaint.
