my daughter was born tonight. The judge granted the mother the restraining order and said i need to file a petition for paternity but no one seems to know where to get these pappers except for lawyers that i can not afford. could someone please tell me where to obtain them so that i can get them filed a.s.a.p.

Call or go to your local court house. They will be happy to direct you.

The OP also has the option of going to the state CSE agency. However, that will take longer than doing it pro-se.
